Project Scope

Summon Pastry Shop is a start-up pastry and coffee shop in Austin, Texas. The tone of Summon Pastry’s brand is mystical and fairy-themed, while also having a pastel-colored, feminine appearance. The challenge of this project was to design a logo that had aspects of a magical setting as well as a more modern aesthetic.

Logo & Branding

Within the logo, the letter S was hand drawn to achieve a whimsical and airy appearance and to allow for the logo to be paired with an illustration in the future. For the rest of the logotype, I chose to use a more restrained script typeface to maintain a level of sophistication.
